Working Towards Your Dreams Even with a Mental Illness

Mental illness doesn't have to stop you from working toward your goals. I've always had lots of ideas and goals, but little came of it before I was in recovery. Now that I'm on medication my future looks a lot brighter. Learn more at HealthyPlace.

What does it take to keep working toward your dreams even with a mental illness? I’ve always been a big dreamer, but before I received treatment for schizoaffective disorder, nothing ever came of it. My symptoms hindered me from anything I would call success.

Even with a Mental Illness, You Can Still Work Towards Your Dreams

Recovery has given my dreams a chance. I’ve learned that I absolutely cannot function without medication for schizoaffective disorder, so I know it’s important to stay on track.

Here’s why I think it’s important for everyone to know that you can work toward your dreams even with a mental illness.
