In-Home Caregiving for a Parent with Alzheimer's Disease

April 17, 2011 Holly Gray

Christopher Lanni has lived with his mother for the last 20 years. She has Alzheimer's disease and he is her caregiver. He wants people to know that in-home alzheimer caregiving is more than just a 24-hour-a-day job.

Christopher is a writer, producer, director, and image consultant who says that in-home caregiving is the biggest production he's ever put on (Care Giving and Caregiving for Yourself). He joined us on the HealthyPlace Mental Health Radio Show and shared what it's like caring for a parent with Alzheimer's Disease.
