Surviving Anxious Times with Bipolar Disorder
Those of us with a mental health condition, such as bipolar disorder, are sensitive to people’s emotions. It intensifies our anxiety, depression, and paranoia when our surrounding environment seems a bit out of control.
Regardless of your political opinions, no one can deny that the 2016 presidential election, and the continuing events that surround it, have created a stressful environment. I talk a bit about how this anxiety has affected me. At the same time, I know I can’t just drop out of society and quit watching and reading the news altogether. So, I’ve come up with a solution that helps me manage my bipolar 2 symptoms and anxiety. Maybe it will work for you. Take a look. Then comment to share how the political environment is affecting you and what you’re doing to get through these anxious times.
