Dealing with Bipolar Disorder and Isolation

Is bipolar disorder and isolation a challenge for you? What do you do to deal with bipolar and isolation?

When you live with bipolar disorder, isolation can become a significant problem. You live in your world. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it can get out of control. Meaning days of isolating turns into months, which is the case in my current situation. It is something we have to be aware of and is a part of living with bipolar disorder. In many situations, we are content being alone, and I believe this is common among people living with a mental health condition. However, when the loneliness sets in. it causes us to be depressed. I talked about that in a previous video on bipolar disorder and isolation: https://youtu.be/A8cH_Qh6XzM

Well, I’m still experiencing it as a young adult living with bipolar 2 disorder. In this video, I’m sharing a few ways to deal with bipolar and isolation.

What is your experience with isolation and bipolar disorder? Have you found a way to either prevent it or get out of the isolation? Share your thoughts below or do a response video and send it in to info@healthyplace.com. Thanks! Hannah
