Bipolar Genetics: My Grandmother Passed Bipolar onto Me
My grandmother passed the bipolar gene down to me. I discovered that after researching my family history to see who might have had bipolar disorder. As you may know, genetics is one of the causes of bipolar disorder and it’s not unusual to find that bipolar disorder runs in families.
So while my grandmother and I both lived with bipolar disorder our lives with the illness are very different. And that’s what I’m talking about in this video.
Does bipolar disorder run in your family? Do your living relatives talk about it? What’s the difference between their life with bipolar and your life today? I’m looking forward to reading your comments. --
