Bipolar Disorder and Self-Love
When you have bipolar disorder, self-love is a challenge and a significant obstacle to overcome. I know because it took me a long time to attain self-love living with bipolar 2 disorder.
We are taught to hate a part of ourselves that make up the majority of who we are. Bipolar disorder and the challenges with it have shaped me into the person that I am today. After accepting my bipolar mind, I found confidence in my authentic and raw self. So I want to share with you a little about how I did that and a personal part of my past related to this topic.
We have to develop methods of building up ourselves as people who live with bipolar disorder to thrive as individuals. Not as people who live without it. Treatment, and working hard to find the right routine of medications is a part of the reason I was able to embrace my bipolar mind. Treatment for bipolar disorder is a topic I am going to further explore in an upcoming video, so make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel.
Why are we so ashamed of our bipolar disorder? What are some techniques or strategies to finding self-love? Please share your comments below or do a response video and send it into info@healthyplace.com. Thanks!
